Old Fashioned Biscuits

Kim's grandmother used to make these. Super simple and tasty.

Self-Rising Flour (cups) 2
Shortening (tablespoons) 2
Milk (cups) 1

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 F. 2. In a large bowl, use a fork to cut 2 tbsp shortening into 2 cups flour. 3. Add milk little by little, mixing with fork, until a wet dough forms. The 1 cup measurement is a rough guideline. 4. Drop by spoonful into a greased cookie sheet. 5. Bake until tops are golden brown, about 8-12 minutes. Note: You can use oat milk, almond milk, or even water instead of milk in order to make them dairy free.
